There’s nothing like a splash of citrus to brighten up an overcast day. A lot of people think one bright color is enough for an outfit. Too wrong they are! Why not mix a couple of bright colors together? I promise, you’ll thank me later. I chose yellow and orange.

I have been on the lookout for a pleated mini-skirt for MONTHS now. In the fall, I originally had my sights set on a blush color, but when I spotted this tangerine tango skirt at a Gap Outlet recently, I knew it was meant to be. I LOVE it! I can’t wait to try out all of the new ways to remix it this spring/summer.

I love the details of the pleating on the skirt with the buttons and delicate smocking on the top. FRILLING. If you ever find yourself nervous about mixing prints, start out small by mixing materials that have different kinds of detailing.

Cardigan and Top: Old Navy / Skirt: Gap Outlet / Shoes: Steve Madden / Bag: Urban Outfitters

Happy Saturday!
