The perfect summer hat

By

I’m one of those people, that when I’m shopping, I just KNOW.

I know if I’m going to regret not buying something. I know if I’m going to love an item or get a lot of wear out of it. Obviously, I don’t always have the privilege of actually getting to buy said item. But I just know when something will serve me well.

Every piece in this particular look will tell a similar story, but my biggest case in point: the perfect summer hat.

I found this hat at the Gap on our beach trip a few weeks ago,  and when I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for me and that I would get a lot of wear out of it. I generally have a hat on hand to wear at the pool or beach, but I have yet to find the perfect summer hat that would suit me in other scenarios as well.

In general, I have a hard time finding hats that I feel comfortable in. I think my head is small, so a lot of hats tend to look silly on me. Not only do I love the darn brown tint to this hat as well as the orange wrap circling it, I also feel confident and comfortable when I’m wearing it.

Seriously, when I saw this hat, I loved it so much that I put it on immediately and asked the sales associate if she liked my new hat.  I only took it off to hand her the tag and pay for it, and I have been wearing it mostly ever since. Seriously, I have worn it more days than I haven’t worn it since purchasing it. It’s simply beyond versatile.
