Latticework Cowl

By

Here’s a project I’ve been working on, off and on, for about 9 months.  I’m so excited to have finally finished it, just in time for fall.  The pattern, which I got from my local yarn shop, is called “Latticework Cowl”(what’s the difference between a cowl and an infinity scarf?).  I came across this gorgeous Misti Alpaca yarn in the store one day, and knew it was my yarn; it is so soft and delicious, and the colorway is one I can’t resist.

I love the latticework pattern, which was a little tricky to get used to at first, and I admit, part of what took me so long was that I got about 5 inches knitted and had to pull it all out and re-knit due to some uncorrectable mistakes.  I had to put it away for awhile after that :(

I’m glad I persevered. I think I’ll be wearing this piece for years to come.
